The Interview

Kluster's Take

Josephine spoke with Dean Eggleton, GVP Field Operations at Cybereason. He explains his unique approach to data and process.

Dean stresses that it’s important to understand and agree on how you are going to make a measurement. He believes it's key to understand contributing factors, teams and processes. He explains that it’s key to organise the data, arrange it, then present it visually. This allows you to tell the story behind it. He identifies the method of measurement and all the factors that contribute to it. Then the story behind it very much is the story the data tells.

Dean explains that data is one thing, context is the other. They are two different things and they need to be married together. When it comes to process Dean wants everyone to be on the same page with what’s expected of them. The value they'll get returned through adhering to a process should also be clear.
