Theo spoke with Dan Grossberg, Director of Sales and Revenue Operations at League Apps. He explains his approach to supporting SDRs.

Dan started out as an SDR, although he learned fairly quickly that sales wasn’t in his DNA. He became much more interested in helping those that are in sales. Around 15 years ago, he switched into sales operations and honed his craft. He learned all the tools and systems needed to make a sales organisation more effective. 

Dan’s experience as an SDR helped him to build a lot of empathy. He understands the trials and tribulations that they go through. He now finds ways to make their lives easier. He gives them the tools, data and knowledge to make their jobs operate more seamlessly. 

Dan thinks documentation is key for the adoption of processes. He explains that it will save you time in troubleshooting. It allows you to point to documentation or a knowledge base. It’ll also save you a lot of time in onboarding new reps.
